This is my first bike, though I've grown up riding dirbikes and motorcycles, I'd never owned a sportbike. I had ridden my buddy's GSX R6 and his dad's 600 Katana, but they don't even compare to this bike. The throttle response is instantaneous, though a bit twitchy in the low rpm range. The powerband kicks in just after 6000 rpm, and man let me tell you, you had better hold on tight because you're going to hit incredibly illegal speeds in no time. The chasis is superb and gives the bike excellent flickability in the twisties. The ergonomics could be a bit more comfortable, though I suspect that someone taller than I, would have no problems. The bike comes with a bulky, somewhat ugly stock pipe, that gives the bike a deep, yet restrained tone. I upgraded to a Leovince SBK Brushed Aluminum Racing Pipe, which not only upgraded the looks and added a her HP, it sounds incredible! This is the pipe for this bike! This bike's looks will get you more stares from people than any of the Japanese bikes. A guy at the local bike shop with an '05 Ninja 636 said it was the best looking bike out right now when he saw me ride up on this thing. If you want a high-performing, unique-looking bike, then this is the one for you! I love this bike and am thoroughly satisfied with my purchase.
