Irvine, CA - Twenty-two-year-old Megumi Takemoto, the first female university baseball pitcher in Japan, aspires to hit another homerun by circumnavigating the globe on a Kawasaki KLR650 motorcycle.
Takemoto already traveled the Australian continent on a Kawasaki. On Dec. 18, starting from Kawasaki’s U.S. headquarters in Irvine, Calif., she’ll take the manufacturer-supplied KLR through Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas, continuing on to Mexico, Peru, Argentina and a long list of other countries, to reach her new goal.
