Minneapolis, MN - A personal watercraft recreational event for the upper Midwest!
The Watercraft World Twin Cities River Run will provide participants with a beautiful 60-plus-mile tour of the upper Mississippi River by way of a relaxed-pace Poker Run. Through this non-competitive recreational event, participants will have an opportunity to win some fabulous prizes, and an all-expenses-paid trip to Watercraft World's Dream Demo. Participants will also be given a gift bag, the chance to demo ride the newest watercraft from Polaris, Honda, Kawasaki, Sea-Doo, and Yamaha, in addition to the opportunity to appear in both Watercraft World magazine and on the "Minnesota Bound" television show. All you need is a personal watercraft and the desire to win some great prizes.
Scheduled for July 19, 2003, the Watercraft World Twin Cities River Run, will be held in conjunction with the Minneapolis Aquatennial, will launch from Hidden Falls Regional Park in St. Paul, Minn., and will navigate just over 30 miles downstream on the Mississippi River and back. Participants will stop at five checkpoints and will be allowed to draw one playing card for every stop they make along the route. Participants are allowed to take their own time during the ride as this is not a race. Back at the launch site, we will host demo rides on the latest and greatest personal watercraft, and prizes will be awarded that afternoon.
