Irvine, CA - Kawasaki is hitting the highway to bring Good Times™ to consumers with Summer Splash 2003, a nationwide demo tour featuring Kawasaki’s hottest new JET SKI® watercraft.
The rolling entourage will make stops around the country, from Florida to Tennessee to Washington, during prime boating season through July. At each venue, consumers will have the opportunity to hop aboard all-new models and experience the thrill of riding JET SKI watercraft. Just as important, consumers will receive instruction on safe and proper riding techniques.
"The Summer Splash Tour is designed to reach out to new consumers by providing them opportunities to demo all-new JET SKI models," said Steve Fischer, product manager, Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A.
Highlights of the Summer Splash Tour include two all-new models released in this 30th anniversary year of JET SKI watercraft: the JET SKI 800 SX-R and the JET SKI STX-12F. The stand-up JET SKI 800 SX-R, designed for both beginning and enthusiast riders, boasts an advanced hull design, more power and increased stability. The three-passenger four-stroke JET SKI STX-12F, the cleanest personal watercraft in the industry with a Three-Star emissions rating from the California Air Resources Board, features increased fuel economy, minimal noise and high performance.
"We want to get people excited about riding JET SKI watercraft," added Fischer. "The best way to do that is to go out, let them ride the product, and have some fun."
Consumers can check out the 2003 JET SKI watercraft product line to find the JET SKI that’s right for them. Dealers and Kawasaki staff will be on-hand to assist participants at each site, providing information about each model as well as appropriate gear and safe riding instruction.
Summer Splash 2003 kicks off April 25 in Knoxville, Tennessee, and will run throughout the summer. Events will coincide with recreational watercraft events as well as dealer-sponsored open houses.
