I own an '06. 5,000 miles use it to ride to work, weekend city cruise, and hit the mountains. I have 6 track days on the bike.
The bike will hang with any 600, CBRR GSXR Whatever. New CBRR or ZX6 beats you to 140mph by a car length? ... well, ok. Bike tops out at 160. Run track days with all of them, even liters. 0-60 in under 4 seconds unmodded. And you can buy mods cheap for this bike, if you really need sub 3.5 seconds to get to 60. Which brings us to parts availability ... tons of 00-02 ZX6s out there. Break a peg? Not $125 from a stealer ... $20 off Ebay.
Looks? ... I on Friday nights guys and girls moon over my bike ... even other rocket racers comment on how clean she looks. Fact ... she looks awesome clean.
Comfort. NO rocket bike comes close. Two hours in the seat of any other rocket and you will totally understand what I am saying.

Upgrades/Accessories: Shimmed carbs, Euro ECU, Zip Throttle mod, Yoshi Carbon Bolt on, RG Frame Sliders, Michelin Pilot Powers SC, Race Tech ZX6 forks, ZX10 Shock ... I have the stock suspension too, just when I want to get wiggie in the hills, I swap.
