Wicked Ride!

I bought my machine on a Thursday and had it ready for its first trip on the following Saturday. Let me tell you, this thing has tons of throttle response! No lack of power to speak of. I was riding in a group that included a '06 800 Polaris, '02 700 Polaris, '05 650 V-Twin Arctic Cat,'04 Honda Rancher 450, 2 '06 Arctic Cat 400's and a '06 Can Am 400 2-up machine. During the two days we beat on our machines! We encountered mud, hills and lots of rocks. Although we never actually raced side by side, I had no problem keeping up with the 800 and after riding the 650 Arctic Cat ( same motor - Kawasaki 650 )I can tell you that I had much more acceleration. I'm sure in both cases this has something to do with the 50-100 pounds less the B.F. weighs. The B.F. performed well in everything except cornering. The stock setting was set too soft, for max comfort, but while cornering it feels like it's going to tip over. I notched mine up two places and it helped dramatically but it could still use some tuning. Another thing that would help this, and it's performance in the mud, is a set of tires! It needs a more aggressive tread. I did get stuck in one mud hole but I am proud to say, so did every other machine that vetured into it! Everything on the machine worked as advertised. This was a very diverse group and part of the fun in this sport is the rivalry between the different companies. I definitely recommend the B.F.650 4x4i. After one ride, you'll know why they call it a Brute Force!
