After riding many sport and utility ATV's,(450R, KFX 400, 400EX, LTR 450, and my personally owned YFZ 450) the YFZ tops in power, quickness, and reliability. The LTR 450 stays on the ground best because of it’s stock wide track A-arms, but it’s wide track hurts it in the trails because thin trails it needs to get through. The 450R is at the top of the bulletproof Honda lineup with one of the best trail quads ever made following close behind in second, the 400EX. The 400EX is beaten by only the KFX 400 and the Z400 on trails. The next step down is the almighty 300EX. This trail quad is easy to whip around and control on the trails. The awesome but less powerful quad floats up the hills but nothing like the YFZ. The 450R and the YFZ are almost identical in power, but the YFZ is crowned for power. Overall, the YFZ is a great sport quad and I would recommend it over any other 4-wheeler.
