I bought this ATV to use on the trails and in that capacity it is a pleasure to ride. The front end is more planted than the 660 but comes up whenever I want it to. When airborne, she flies level and is light enough to maneuver. The rear shock is excellent for the trails. Some reservoir shocks on the front would have been nice. The power is wonderful off the bottom and throughout the midrange. It just pulls hard even while running a gear or two down. The engine falls flat on the top end so don't wait for the rev limiter. Grab another gear and stab the throttle. Without getting insulting, don't weigh to heavily the reviews from riders who compare the raptor to any of the current 450s. The new Raptor exceeds my expectations for what Yamaha wanted to have which is an all around great machine. For those wanting a track quad, go buy one of the 450s. For those wanting a machine with gobs of power for the trails, dunes, light snow or long cross countries....Buy the Raptor 700.
Upgrades/Accessories: GYTR skid plates. The stock plastic skids don't take a big hit.
