I bought an 06 Ninja 250R in mid-May and have put over 7k miles on so far, mostly on 2 lane paved, and dirt roads in northern Vt. Excellent bike! Runs smooth, pretty quick, and very economical, I average 75-85mpg. On 1 trip into northern N.H. averaged 82mpg. Serviced according to the owners manual, outside of chain lube every 4oo miles, very little maintenance needed. Excellent quality. I am very pleased with this 250cc motorcycle. I purchased a 2 year extended warranty so I plan to enjoy this great bike for years to come. Also very inexpensive to insure. All in all - the best 250 cc bike you can buy. And the red is just beautiful--- perfect as is...
Upgrades/Accessories: I wrapped a little padding around the bar ends-- to pad the vibrations a little bit--- works great for people with small hands like mine-- no other options needed.
