I own a 2004 BMW RT 1150, 2004 BMW BoxerCup Replika and a 2006 Buell Uly, along with this 2005 Bonnie and while the others may be faster, and this and that, the Triumph is the one I pull out of the garage first. It's the easiest to ride. I can go slow. I can go relatively fast on it. It's the slowest of my bikes but it's the one with biggest grin factor. And boy, is it ever fun to see others look at it. Even some die hard Triumph riders, (from the old days), just sit, stare and want to talk about it. Great bike from novice to expert. I want another please. Just plain fun and easy to ride.
Upgrades/Accessories: Neat tail light that replaces the monster that comes stock. And I got to relocate the turn signals...to a box in the shed. I put on better Flander handlebars. A little wider but tons better feel. I also added a PIA 110 watt headlight bulb. Just wanna see better at night.
I replaced the shocks with IKON, which I understand to KONIs with the spelling changed. I got a fork kit, springs and fresh fork oil. Worlds better than stock. Stock seat. I can go 300 miles and be fine with it. I found a $19 air seat cushion for canoes that makes any seat on any bike feel worlds better.. For those over 300 mile afternoon rides.......
