My First Bike

This is my first bike. I had a Vino 125 Scooter for a year and enjoyed riding. I wanted a bike that I fit on with my long 6'4" frame but was concerned because the majority of them were large displacement bikes. Then I discovered the new Vulcan VN 900. The bike fits me well and has some great features. I am pleased that the engine is fuel injected, and the bike is belt drive, I also like the fact that the front and rear brakes are disc. I like the low weight, balance and the not too overly responsive throttle. The bike has some nice lines and I get a lot of compliments on its appearance. I have the Ocean Blue and it is a great color that seems to change hue in different lights. The bike shifts well, but the transmission has a winny noise to it. A lot of people seem to complain about the seat but I have found mine comfortable so far. I am happy with my purchase so far. I think that the Vulcan 900 is a great first bike despite its large appearance and displacement.
