I have only had my Ninja 650R for 3 weeks, and I have fallen hopelessly in love! I traded my 2003 Suzuki 1200S Bandit for this one, and I gotta tell you, I couldn't be happier. Many people ask, "Why did you downsize?" Answer: the lighter weight, the snappy engine, & the drop-dead sexy looks! This bike has all the power you'll ever need, and the light weight makes tight turns or parking lot negotiation a breeze. The looks are to die for as well (nothing like a black bike with a red frame!). The transmission is very smooth, and the throttle response is awesome. Fuel economy is great, I can get 175 miles on a tank of gas, be it highway or city riding. This bike would be great for someone wanting to get into sportbikes without breaking the bank. I would recommend this ride to anyone! Granted, it is a bit smaller than my last bike, but bigger isn't always better...
