Speedmaster = Good Cruiser

After riding a Yamaha Virago and a Honda Shadow (both good bikes) for a few years, I was ready for a change of pace. Originally thought I wanted a Sportster. But once I took a ride on the Speedmaster, I was hooked. A buddy years ago had an old Bonneville and I remembered how much he'd liked that bike, so Triumph was a brand I was somewhat familiar with. The Speedmaster has a unique style, which I like. And it handles very well. The 865 cc motor isn't overpowering by any means, but it's respectable and will cruise all day at 70 mph+ without any complaints. The stock seat isn't good for riding with a passenger, though. I get 45 - 50 mpg in mixed city/highway driving.

Upgrades/Accessories:  Memphis Shades windshield, Bub's exhaust
