Was in Italy last year, where, in the cities there are more Scooters then Cars, and I fell in love with them. Returned to USA and ordered my Scooter a couple of months before the gas hit the ceiling - the timing was perfect. The last I checked, just before my 500 mile check-up, I was getting about 85 mpg. It's quick and I don't feel shy about driving in any traffic in NJ with Speed Limits posted up to 55mph. I can get around much quicker than in a car especially with my tendancy to "Drive like an Italian" occasionally when there's traffic back-ups or indecisive drivers. NJ's got a bad rap for it's drivers, because "we gotta go whenever there's a chance to go". I think we learned from the Italians. Go Yamaha!!!! I'd buy this Scooter again in a NY minute.
