Great bike for novice and experienced!

I had a tough time deciding what my first bike would be. My friends had settled for super sport bikes such as YZF-R6, CBR, and ZX 636 as their beginner bikes. I was a bit intimidated at these and yet unwilling to purchase a Ninja 500R because it looked so plain. Needless to say, I was looking for a decent bike to practice yet and look decent while going downtown. Praise for Ninja 650R. It looks sporty, it's price is definitely the bargain hit and it's performance is top notch for its class. The handling is very easy; I was in total control after 1/5 hour of practicing down a short drive way. Gear shifting was very smooth as well as throttle response minus a minor abrupt knocking due to my hastiness. Comfort is above par. I rode this bike around for hours without getting back spasm. A must recommendation for anyone who wants a decent sport bike entry with fair price, ease of learning and speed to save your ego.
