I've had the 650 R for about a month now and I can honestly say it is an all around Great ride. I smile every time I put the key in it. The performance is all there for me, I was a little worried that I would out grow it but man was I wrong. After the 6000 RPM zone, the bike feels like it has endless (usable) power, And sounds like a four barrel carb on old muscle car when you punch it. Its no R 1 Yamaha but it is half the price and you will still get that same smile. Great ride.
