I ride a Harley-Davidson Ultra-Classic on the weekends with my wife. But for commuting, I wanted something different, something very different. I wanted something fun, cheap, lightweight, reliable and frugal. I got all that in the Ninja 250.
As far as comfort, I'm a little too lanky for this bike--seat to bars and seat to pegs. However, since it is so much fun to ride and because I am such a cheapskate, I think it will remain in my stable for quite some time. It is by far the most powerful 250cc bike on the market and I'm no beginner.
Upgrades/Accessories: Mike's Touring Windshield--Ninja250.org, Timberwolf Suitcase Saddlebags, Cortech Sport Tailbag, Genmar Handlebar Risers. For the future: 15 tooth front sprocket.
In the far distant future, in a land far, far away, awaits a Ninja 500 with my name on it.
