I traded my 1997 ZX-11 for a 14. I have logged nearly 300 miles so far. Until the engine is properly broken in and I have had more seat time I cannot offer an accurate review, the bike seems awesome so far. The only thing that surprised me is that it has a heater for those cold days, the bad part is it cannot be regulated or turned off. The amount of heat comming from upfront will cook the inside of the thighs. That was never mentioned by Kawi or magazine reviews. My 97 dumped hot air on the shins but not nearly to the extent of the 14. It is almost as if the legs are resting on hot plates. Hopefully an aftermarket body work will become avaiable to redirect the heat. If not I guess some surgery will be required on the Testarossa leg panels.
