I recently bought a new silver 2005 model (aka silver bullet) with the chrome pipes. The bike has exceeded my expectations. It was much faster than I thought it would be. This bike is often under-rated due to it being a 250, but this bike (stock) is very quick and even quicker with a jet kit, k&n; conical filters and a muzzy 2 into 1 exhaust. However, you must practice and really learn to launch it properly. My brother also has one and I watched him beat a highly modified Harley in a race up to and over 110 mph (on a track). Needless to say, the harley rider was not very happy with the outcome. Overall, an excellent bike that is too often dismissed as a beginner only bike as it is not. I have customized my bike and I love it even more!
