The first few miles I rode this 999S ( 04) I was not impressed. Then I realized what was different was that this bike is so refined compared to the Ducati's I've had in the past. It is smoothe, torquey, has compliant suspension (Ohlins) and just oozes quality. At first I missed all the usual quirks that I was used to with my other Ducati's, but then I settled into a pattern of just enjoying the bike and it's excellent performance. If you go for a demo ride expect to be surprised by how refined the 999S package feels. Use caution with the throttle as well because this big twin builds speed with surprising quickness.
Upgrades/Accessories: None yet. But I plan to add a Termi full system and an open clutch cover.
