I got this puppy to drive back and forth to work (five days a week, roughly 30 miles a day).
There's a stretch of highway (5-6 miles) between my home and work where the speed limit is 65MPH.
I'm 6'2" and live in Oklahoma where the wind comes sweeping down the plains.
This bike is awesome! I have had NO problems at highway speeds in the Oklahoma wind. Yes, I plan to get the touring windscreen (4 inches taller), but it's not a big deal not to have it.
I'm getting around 60 miles per gallon of gas and I'm tickled pink. That's like THREE times the gas mileage I was getting in my truck.
My seat is moved all the way back, and I don't have any trouble turning etc.. I would have preferred the seat moved back another inch or so for comfort reasons, but again, it's not that big of a deal.
Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this bike. And if gas prices keep going up, the smile on my face is gonna get bigger and bigger.
