I purchased my 06 KFX 700 a few months ago and haven’t gotten off it yet. The only two things I have against it are no hold back going down hills so you had better have good brakes and the cheap set up on the back brake light; the first time I put it back for a good wheelie it snapped right off. I haven’t had any problems out of the tie rods or the plastic like many other people. I do a lot of rough mountain trail riding and everything has held up fine. When it comes to speed it's kind of sluggish on the take off but after a few seconds you're flying, for example a 400 ex will get 2-3 quad lengths ahead of you in the start but a few seconds later you’ll leave it in the dust. Another thing, if you're thinking about buying one the first time you get on it, don’t underestimate the automatic transmission - it has more than enough get up and go and if you give it full throttle from sitting still, it will stand straight up on you and probably throw you off. I get around 60 miles to a tank of gas, so you might want to pack extra for a long ride. The throttle limiter behind the gas lever comes half turned in new so if you have speed problems turn that sucker out and you’ll be flying in no time. Well I hope this review will help someone in buying a new kfx700
