My first real bike was an 86' Intruder, very solid bike, no complaints about it... I just out grew it quickly...
Then I went totally hardcore, and got an 86' GSX-R 750, that bike was CRAZY fast, handling, speed. It easily sliced and diced the windy back roads, but it was a little to extreme in the full tuck position for long road trips.
I then got married, had some kids, sold the GSX-R I'm sure a lot of you can relate to that.
Then I picked up an older '84 GPZ 750 that was a nice ride, comfort, and handling. A pre-cursor I am sure to the concours.
So, I rode the concours home last night; I have less then 10 miles on it. It felt like putting on an old favorite pair of sneakers. It was as if I never stopped riding...
