One year later

The only gripe I have is the riding position. I really wish I could have known that the riding position would not work for me. There are third party parts to take care of this, but I am not a decent mechanic. It is fast, gets an average of 38 mpg (more if I would just slow down), just routine manual suggested work, and in serious need of places to go far and fast. This is the most I have ever ridden a bike in one year's time. It is a very practical bike that gets the job done for a fraction of the cost of the big name sport tourers. I have found that as I commute to work daily, I can handle the riding position better on the weekend trips (600 miles). I once rode 80 mph for 200 miles and the bike felt like it could take a lot more. The bike starts fine in cold weather using the choke. The fairing makes cold weather riding comfortable. I have no trouble from cage drivers while riding this bike. It helps that I can easily cruise at the same speed as the fastest drivers and more when needed.
