I traded in a '00 Yamaha XL800 and a '97 SeaDooGTX800 on 2 new Kawasaki STX-15s. The new skis instantly start, are extremely quiet and unbelievably fast. While cruising, the engine has a soft jet-engine type sound. The way you sit on the STX-15 reminds me of a snowmobile, down low, different from other PWCs I have ridden. I recommend the Kawasaki and give it my highest rating. See you on the water!
