I own a Prarie Kaw 400 (1997) and bought the BF in Nov. 2005 for use on 905 acres in MO. The machine is flawless and the only correction was the carb needle (front carb/cyl). Kawasaki said to replace to enrich the front cyl. mixture. It's easy to keep clean, maintain, pull trees, and haul a trailer. The engine makes a lot of heat though but I like the thump of a big twin. It is a gas hog. I estimate, with the type of riding/work I do, to be about 9 mpg. I change the oil, gear fluids, etc. to synthetic due to the heat. The valves are a pain to set, but once a year isn't too bad. If it's like the Kawasaki products I own, it will last for a very long time.
Upgrades/Accessories: Moose front and rear boxes, gunracks, Warn winch, Amsoil lubricants. Tire sealents from Gemplers.
