I just got my Brute Force 2 weeks ago. This past Saturday my friend, who has been riding for many years and owns a Polaris Sportsman 700, took me out for my first ride. Mind you I have never riden before. I was able to do everything and go everywhere he went including some deep mudholes between 10-18 inches deep in two wheel drive. After an hour or so we swapped rides and I can say the Brute force is a smoother ride, and has way more power, although the Polaris did have easier steering and also was easier to shift into 4 wheel drive. The Brute Force has better engine braking, found very little need for brakes. Because of low time on unit, I didn't push past half throttle, but on a clear stretch of open blacktop I pulled up alongside the Polaris and challenged him. Within several seconds I was a couple of lengths ahead and pulling away. I backed off after couple of more seconds after looking at speedo and seeing that I was doing 56 mph. So being that this is my first quad and only got to ride the Polaris for about 30 minutes, I am very pleased with my purchase and can't wait until it's broken in.
Upgrades/Accessories: Warn winch and flat pack gas carriers.
