I purchased a red model in March, just as the weather was warming up. I chose the Vino 125 because of its size/speed for the most part (driving at 25 mph on streets is usually more dangerous than 35-40 mph in order to keep up with traffic). Also, the cost and expected reliability were significant factors. I owned motorcycles in the past, but this was my first scooter. I have been completely satisfied with the Vino to this point. It is very comfortable, seems to be put together well, and has enough power to keep up with traffic, even up the rolling hills of Atlanta. I have tried to stay generally within the break-in guidelines of the scooter, but the end of the recommended break-in period is in sight. The scooter cruises well at 35-40 mph, with more power left in it, but I am waiting a bit to push much harder. The gas tank is smaller, but I have achieved around 75 miles per gallon, which mitigates this issue. The brakes are better that drum/drum found on some other scooters, but the front disc is not as strong as I had hoped. I would strongly recommend this to anyone seeking a reasonably powerful, stylish, reliable scooter that can be purchased and serviced in any reasonably sized city.
