we have just recently bought our first kawasaki jetski, a Kawasaki STX-12F.We have tried a sea doo and a yamaha, but both last only abot 2 or 3 hours before replacing spark plugs or other key parts to the craft. This is a great buy, but puts a little bit of a dent in the wallet.It is best for beginners because it is the only craft with a 4 stroke 4 cylinder engine,the same as the kawasaki ninja xr2 bike, and no choke. I have a forteen year old daughter who drives it with relative ease. This ski is very difficult to flip, and can tow a skier or tuber with no trouble at all. This ski has a 125 horse at 7,000 rpms and the best ski ive ever seen on the market, but if you are going to buy a jetski, buy the stx - 12 f as it us very reliable, a smooth ride, and the best ski you can buy as of now.
