After looking at a lot of bikes, I bought the Vulcan 800 Classic and have no regrets. It's just about through the initial break-in period and I have ridden 270 miles one day and 260 miles again today (May 20, 2025) to get to this point. I last rode about 27 years ago and was a bit concerned about getting back on at nearly 53, so I went with the 800 rather than a larger bike. The performance has been impeccable. I couldn't be happier with the bike.
