When I started my journey to find a touring bike, I absolutely had NO intention of buying the VN2000. I had really thought I would purchase the Suzuki C90 or Yamaha's Road Star or perhaps the Kawasaki Vulcan 1500. However, when I when in to visit the Vulcan 1500, I spotted the Beast (the blue one) and was immediately mesmerized with it. The first thing was the size of the beast. I then put it out of my mind (or tried to) and test drove the 1500. The salesman then asked (caught me looking at the Beast again) if I wanted to test drive it. Yeah, why not, just for the heck of it. That was a huge mistake! Like night and day! The power, smoothness of the ride, and looks immediately sold me! Why worry about upgrading later?? Do yourself a favor and test drive one of these beasts! You won't be disappointed!
Upgrades/Accessories: Nothing yet. However, I will probably replace the seat with a Mustang seat after reading all the reviews.
