Just Bought my bike 3/26/05 . What can I say? It's big, powerful, beautiful, and just plain big. I almost passed up this big gorgeous hunk of excess because my initial impression was it was too big. I was glad the dealer talked me into riding the demo model before I passed it off as just too much bike. What a ride!! Everything about it is almost perfect except for the seat which I'm not sure about yet, so I just gave it a four star. I was all set to get a Super Glide Custom or a Wide Glide or possibly a 1200 Custom since it's been a while since my last Harley. Test rode them and ruled out the 1200 Custom {didn't like the rear shocks}. Really liked the Dyna's but went by my Kawasaki dealer and just did a total flip out when I rode the big Vulcan. I traded in my beloved 800 Vulcan and I am just awestruck with my new VN2000. If you're like me and thought the big beast was just too big, at least do yourself a favor and try one. You may be pleasantly surprised. I will update later when I have it broken in.
Upgrades/Accessories: Fire and steel sissybar, pad, rear rack, and emblem. Fire and steel windshield and lowers.
