When I purchased my 05' ZX10 last month I was also looking at the Honda CBR1000RR and the Yamaha R1"RAVEN" at the time, but when I went back to the Kawasaki dealership to look at the ZX10 one last time there was gettleman that said "if you buy any bike other than the ZX10, you are just down right crazy" and he wasn't a salesman. Being a first time rider and reading so many reviews about the ZX10 being sooooo fast it kind of scared me, but being the kind of person I am, I went ahead and purchased the bike and the one word that can define how the experience has been is "WOW!!!". I don't mind a little extra attention so I purchased the Pearl Maoma Red, which turns a lot of heads. If I could change one thing on the bike it would be the exhaust. Kawasaki went with the traditional out the side look and it would of been nice if they went with a undertail setup like the ZX6, but the exhaust note is awesome especially on a downshift.
Upgrades/Accessories: Not to many plans for performance upgrades because its already fast enough and as far as cosmetic upgrades I will be going a little crazy. CHROME,CHROME, AND MORE CHROME.
