Most of my runs are between San Antonio and Austin,TX. IH-35 is a mad house with lots of 18 wheelers and real fast moving traffic, moving at speeds over 80 mph. My Nomad seems to settle in at about 85 and still has good throttle response up to 100. This is with stock pipes and no changes to the intake system. With intake and exhaust mods I'm sure a significant increase in performance could be experienced. The bike is beautiful from factory and reasonably priced.
Upgrades/Accessories: Round one consisted of chrome side covers and a cobra luggage rack. Round two included a chrome inner engine cover and upper hard bag racks. Round three included covers for the brake and shifter and a back rest. I'd like to have the light bar for looks, but it really isn't necessary, as the stock headlight, high and low is adequate. Now looking for some trick answer to highway pegs or some form of leg stretchers.
