I'm 54 and I've seen'em all. I also still have a Kawasaki 550 LTD I bought new in 1982. You just can't beat Kawasaki's reliability. When I decided to reward myself for years of wanting a big cruiser, I looked at Harley, Goldwing, Royal Star, BMW, Triumph Rocket and Honda's Rune. I looked at all their variations and realized I found everything I wanted in the Kawasaki 1600 Nomad. Mine is Black and Silver just like the advertised pictures. I've come to realize that beauty, style and comfort can be had at half the cost of a Harley, so I went with what my heart told me was the best for me. Good luck!
Upgrades/Accessories: Brand new bike... so probably will add highway pegs, chrome motor and side covers, rear luggage rack behind sissy bar, some type of cruise control assessory, hard bag top racks and nicer shift and brake pedals.
