Its nearing the end of the riding season for me here in the North East. I have close to 1,700 miles on my bike since it's purchase on 7/21/06.
Although, I found the seat to be a little hard at first it has broken in and is more comfortable to me.
I am very happy with the weight distribution and overall handling of the bike.
It is one of the best looking bikes on the market today.
Some people have complained about the plastic chrome. I knew it was chrome plated plastic when I bought the bike (you don't need a PHD to fiqure that out) and I new it would have cost me more in dollars and weight to go real chrome plated metal parts.
I have had three mechanical concerns to date. One being a tapping sound coming from the lower front of the crankcase which is still present once the bike warms up but has lessened since 600 miles. A very small oil leak (one drop hanging on the bottom of the crankcase after riding). Lastly, the whine of an overly tight drive belt.
Overall, I am satified, but give it only 4 stars on quality because of the above issues. There are others that have not had the tapping and oil issue, so my bike is not necessarily typical.
I don't know anyone who has not had the belt issue.
