Power In a Large Package

Being a 48 year old man who loves to carve in the sand I thought this quad would be great. Since I weigh 285 pounds I needed lots of power. Overall I am very happy with the KFX700. It indeed does have required power to top any hill I have found at Little Sahara. I was not aware of problem with tie rods, till this weekend when I bumped my right tire off a burm in a turn and bent the right tie rod. I feel tie rods are way too soft considering overall weight of machine. I am also wondering how long the CTV belt will last under pounding of downhill riding. My machine is currently stock with plans of pipes and K&N; filter. I love the power the V-twin produces.

Upgrades/Accessories:  Sand Star paddle tires and searching for pipe that won't break the bank.
