I bought my 2000 Vstar in Spearfish SD @ 2002 Sturgis Week , when my buddy's Harley Sportster gave out,(which I road out to SD from MI...1350 miles). So I HAD to buy my Vstar to get home... GREAT EXCUSE-RIGHT! Since then I have added Cobra Drag exhaust and it sounds and rides better than the old sportster.I had 1972 Yamaha "650" which I put 25,000 plus miles on and this bike is 200% better. It"s GREAT!!!!
