Smart Steering detects the rider's steering input as well as the speed of operation and automatically increases engine speed to provide additional thrust. The advanced steering technology continuously monitors engine rpm to determine if the watercraft is being operated at a low or high speed. If the speed is low, the system does not operate. If the speed is high, the system will operate when the throttle has been released and the engine has returned to idle.
