The 2003 JET SKI® 1100 STX D.I. is designed as a luxury, three-passenger JET SKI watercraft with impressive performance, ultra-smooth acceleration, excellent fuel economy for increased riding range, noise reduction and lower exhaust emissions that help keep the environment clean. The 1100 STX D.I. joins seven other units as Kawasaki marks the 30th anniversary of JET SKI watercraft in 2003.
The 1100 STX D.I. is equipped with direct injection technology, the most advanced technology available in two-stroke engine development, and meets the highest existing Environmental Protection Agency exhaust emission standards.
The 1100 STX D.I. comes equipped with Kawasaki's breakthrough steering system. Kawasaki Smart Steering™ detects the rider's steering input as well as the speed of operation to help ensure that thrust is automatically available when needed. The advanced steering technology continuously monitors engine rpm to determine if the craft is being operated at a low or high speed. If the speed is low, the system does not operate. If the speed is high, the system will operate, even if the throttle has been released and the engine has returned to idle.
