When Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A., unveiled the V-twin-powered Prairie® 650 4x4 in 2001, it changed every idea of what constituted a four-wheel-drive all-terrain vehicle (ATV).
True to its innovative approach to ATV design and penchant for creating ultra-high-performance products, Kawasaki has again changed all the rules and conceptions, only this time it's in the world of sport ATVs.
The Kawasaki KFX700 V Force™ is the first sport ATV in the industry to feature a V-twin engine. It has set new standards for power, control, handling and comfort that until now have not existed in one single sport ATV.
"The V Force offers instantaneous power delivery, tracks precisely thanks to its racing-style chassis, yet is easy to ride because of its fully automatic transmission," said Jim Williams, ATV product manager for Kawasaki. "V Force riders simply won't get as fatigued as they would on a typical manually shifting sport ATV, allowing them to ride more aggressively for longer periods of time."
