Design

• 90TH ANNIVERSARY LIVERY: The colours of the 1299 Panigale S Anniversario draw their inspiration from those of Ducati race bikes. The white, black and Ducati Red fairing goes perfectly with the gold wheel rims. This celebratory livery expresses all the passion, all the striving for performance that has characterized the company’s 90-year history.
• PRECIOUS ELEMENTS: The clutch cover, cylinder head covers, and oil pan are all cast in a golden-color magnesium alloy to ensure the engine’s strength with the absolute lowest possible weight.
• FULL LED LIGHTING: The 1299 Panigale S Anniversario total racing look is expressed also by twin LED front headlamp designed to be an integral part of the front air scoops. The double LED rear lights harmoniously wrap around the air vents smoothly following the iconic Panigale tail lines.
• FULL TFT INSTRUMENT PANEL: The instrument panel on the 1299 Panigale S Anniversario uses a full TFT display. The colour display’s configuration is variable and automatically adapts to variations in environmental light and to the selected Riding Mode. The display also features a “”lean angle visualization,”” allowing the riders to see their achieved lean angle displayed on the dash in real-time.

Equipment

• RACING KIT: Included with the 1299 Panigale S Anniversario is a racing kit enabling the bike to go directly from the showroom floor, to dominating the track. The centerpiece of this kit is an Akrapovič racing exhaust, which is freer breathing to enhance power and is made in full titanium to shave off precious additional weight. Also included are billet aluminium mirror block-off plugs, and a license plate holder plug, for track sessions in which the bike’s mirrors and plate holder are removed.
• SPORT PACK: Unleash the power. Make the details count. Maximise your experience with specially conceived components and design elements which enhance both looks and performance. The package includes carbon fibre covers for ignition switch and rear shock absorber, an adhesive carbon tank protector, a carbon sprocket cover kit, carbon heel guards for rider footpegs, an aluminium tank plug and a carbon and aluminium alloy number plate holder. Black handlebar weights are also included.
• DUCATI SUMISURA: Ducati SuMisura is a project launched to allow users to customise their suit, in terms of graphics and on their specific physique, with a “bespoke” solution.

Performance

• SUPERQUADRO: The 205 hp Ducati Superquadro 1285 cc engine is integrated smoothly into the monocoque frame, providing the perfect platform from which to unleash its incredible 205hp power. The twin-cylinder Superquadro also features Engine Brake Control (EBC), which optimises vehicle stability under extreme turn-in conditions. This ensures the very highest level of riding precision, offering the thrills that only a Ducati Superbike can provide.
• DTC AND DWC EVO: The exclusive 1299 Panigale S Anniversario is also equipped with advanced ‘EVO’ versions of Ducati Traction Control (DTC) and Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC); these maximise performance and active safety on the Bologna-built Superbike. The DTC EVO is based on an all-new algorithm that makes intervention faster and more precise and also interfaces with the Bosch Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), constantly measuring the lean angle and using it to gauge optimal control of rear wheelspin.
• OPTIMIZED GEOMETRY: The 1299 Panigale S Anniversario benefits from the experience of Ducati Corse, adopting a new geometry which uses a 24° steering head angle along with a 4mm lower swingarm pivot point. This enhances the bike’s agility, and provides excellent rear traction in a wide variety of riding conditions.
• LITHIUM-ION BATTERY: Lithium-ion is the most advanced commercially available battery technology, and allows the unit to be extremely lightweight and compact – saving a full 2 kilograms of weight versus a conventional lead-acid battery. It’s one of the crucial details that allows the 1299 Panigale S Anniversario to be even lighter than the already market-leading S version.
